i have no idea about tuning and dyno stuff so this is what im confused about...i have the trifecta tune (21psi), injen CAI and charge piping, and a catless downpipe, and when i dynoed i turned the tune on and went the through the gears slowly til i got into 4th gear when he told me to floor it so i did....my best numbers were 252HP and 275 torque...the whole time i was on the dyno my : parking brake, ABS, and service ESC lights kept flashing...was this limp moding me? i'm really lost and sorry if this is a dumb question but i dont know what was going on. if anyone has some explanations i would love to hear them

 

nooo thsoe lights go on when youre on the dyno because the rear wheels are not moving but your fronts are. hence the ABS light trying to say something aint right there. thats normal. as for the low numbers i have no idea. bad tune file maybe?

send vince the logs and he should get you up and running in no time.

 

probably something to do with ABS and tc. wheel speed sensors were going mad because your rear wheels weren't moving. your parking brake should have been on. if you were limp moding you would get a mil light and an engine power loss message. those numbers are low, probably dialed in some wrong info. every dyno is different, and the guy may not have known what he was doing. you're fine unless you get those messages while driving.

 

why 4th not 3rd

 

i'm not sure why 4th...the guy said easily go through 1-4th at arouns 3k each gear then floor it in 4th...but how would i upload the data to vince i dont have a cable or anything...i mean honestly the car moves on the street...its definately A LOT faster with the tune (duhh) but im hoping it was the dyno, i wanna go to another shop who can set me up and actually take a look at the car and stuff...they just strapped me in and i went after a few minutes of plugging **** in

4th should be a 1.00 gear ratio in the trans...

 

that would make perfect sense.
