t3/t4 turbo swap
t3/t4 turbo swap
ok so I have been snooping around on the internet looking to see what turbo swap kits are available for our car. It seems as tho dejon has a few that are really cheap. First one is a mitsu 16g which sounds pretty much useless but the other is a 5457 trim t3/t4. Is anyone running this? and would it be a good choice? I actually want to do a gt28 but can only find one company selling them. And the t3/t4 is a little bigger than a gt30 i believe so it might be a little much for me. I dunno what do you'll think?
The 5457 is well suited to the LNF. We run this on our big turbo Solstices, and it works well (no, I do not work for Dejon, and am not referring to Dejon). Haven't put one on a balt yet, but it will be the same idea.
We have the highest HP Solstice at 415whp. If we could get an interested party with a GM stage 2 kit and a manual trans, we would be right around 450whp. Keep in mind, that is on a RWD platform, which typically have more drivetrain losses than us FWD platforms have. On the FWD, we would be looking right around 500whp.
$600.00 Ball bearing not sure how many miles are on it, It was on Paul 06blackG85's LSJ and made over 500whp holdin 27psi. It has a slight amount of shaftplay it's within spec though I never put it on my car just bought it but I'm going smaller now cause Im a wimp lol
