anyone seafoam an LNF??
anyone seafoam an LNF??
So im almost done putting my car away for the winter, just have to change oil fill up tank and vacuum. I wanted to seafoam it (20k miles) but i dont know where would be a good place to put the seafoam in the throttle body b/c its upside down. Should i just put it in the brake booster or dribble it on the map sensor whole?? Thanks.
lol I think I'll do it eventually, but not till I have some serious KMs on that bitch.
What are the downsides to using seafoam? It can't really be good for everything. Or at least I wouldn't think it would be. Does it clog up your cat or foul your spark plugs or anything?
same thing i did. very little smoke at all.... i guess that means my car was clean?? lol
i used three cans in a day. im still rolln on 4 wheels lol
Well there you go then.

I use Sta Bil in my standby generater and chainsaw and have never had a problem starting either after prolonged storage (a year or more).

Brake booster is a commonly used method. Some also put a bit in the fuel tank.
NEVER put it in the oil... It is a potential for epic fail.
When you seafoam, plan on changing the spark plugs afterward.

yea im planning on going with plugs in the spring, I had a 1/4 tank so i put 1/3 in all then changed the oil about 20 mins after the whole thing. I really dont think it is going to hurt anything. My oil however at 3500 miles was pitch black though. Dont really know why i didnt get on it much in those 3500
