weird how i thoth the GP only got the GTP package

The G6 coupe is available in GT and GTP models. The GTP will feature a 240 horsepwer 3.9L OHV V6 coupled to a 4-speed automatic with manual shift mode or a 6-speed manual – a package that targets driving enthusiasts.

its RWD!!!!! lol

Are you sure its RWD, cuz everything Ive read says FWD. And I also thought that it was the G6 G "X" P?!?!? I hope you're right about the RWD though, that would be awesome!!!

They are FWD only, and GTP, the GXP is a higher trim level that may be offered later on, GTP is the standard performance trim.

It may just be the angle that the car is sitting it looks like its sitting on a slope. Pricing hasnt been announced by pontiac yet. But the car is FWD not rear. They are scheduled to start production this summer. Hopefully pontiac adjusts its price of the G6 GT currently the MSRP can reach nearly 29K for a fully loaded one. Mine was 26.4 without leather and side curtain air bags. But to remain competitve they need to price it below the Grand Prix GTP. Which means it needs to be lower than $30,000 because the GTP grand prix starts at $27390 which has 260HP. The hardtop convertible will probably show a much larger price tag, that I would expect to start well over 30K but not the coupe the GTO is only 33K and has 400 HP.

Well for one the supra uses an inline 6 not a V6, and a V6 can just as easily make power as an inline 6, and makes it easier than an inline 4.

Im hoping that the convertible will be 29,999, and not hit 30K as that just seems to high with the GTO at 33K. The standard G6 is rather pricey as the intro trim level is not their lowest one, they are introducing a cheaper inline 4 engine that will come in under the current G6 price.

Too bad the Supra wasn't a V-6....it was a I-6 or a straight 6cyl. engine!!!

Oh I forgot to add....ehh...I thought Pontiac would do a better job with the GTP version of the coupe, but nothing less it is a nice car and the 6-speed manual is a nice feature!!

The G6 coupe just does not do it for me. Makes me think Accord.
I have seen a couple sedans on the road, and they're pretty nice.
I wish they came out a year earlier when we got a Grand Prix.
