SS Springs on LS

Has anyone actually put SS springs on an LS? Of those who have does anybody have pics?

Will that still wear the springs and struts as bad as say aftermarket springs?

the ss springs should not drop your car enough to make problems like that. i will let you know in couple of days though. i am gonna put mine on on sum. pics will follow

ok guys, the ss springs on the regular cobalt works great. it tightens up the steering, there is a little less body roll and it does not take you alignment that far out of wack. pics will be comming shortly

So what is the actual drop height using the ss/sc springs compared to the pro kit from eibach ????

the ss springs drop the ls an inch, where as the pro kit drops it like 2 inchs or something. you could try ebay or GM. good luck

Well, according to eibach, if you get the pro kit on the ss, it doesnt lower it at all in the front and only about 0.5' in the rear. So eibach claims 1.6in drop in the front and 1.8in drop for the rear, so obviously the SS/SC springs lower 1.6" in the front cause the eibachs dont lower it any. And for the rear you just subtract the 0.5" the pro kit drops from the 1.8" they claim. So basically the SS/SC springs will lower a base/Ls/Lt 1.6" in the front and 1.3" in the rear. Hopefully what i wrote is somewhat understandable, and hope it helps...
