Loosening belt for Pulleyboy's 2.8 Pulley

Okay, I know you take a wrench to the tensioner but I'm not exactly sure where you apply pressure. Can someone upload some pictures?

there is no bolt, on top of the tensioner, next to the pulley(the tensioner pulley) there is a raised sqare flat, you use a wrench on that, be carefult it WILL slip off, real pita.
Or you can get the pulleyboys tensioner removal tool and not worry about it again!

If anyone would like to upload some pics for the rest of the forum, that would be cool

look right behind the idler pulley it is shaped like this _|--|_

the raised part is where the wrench goes, get a GOOD tight fitting one

What size wrench did you use? I tried few sizes but couldn't get it loose enough to remove the belt. I guess I'll have to buy that tool but I don't wanna spend another $80 for what people are doing for free

It takes a 15mm, you just have to push down a little, then back towards the windshield. It takes some effort, but it'll go far enough.
