Going into the garage tomorrow

Well my car has an appointment to go into the garage tomorrow. It is going in to fix two problems i have been having. The first is a stalling problem that occurs when I am slowing down to come to a stop. It has only happened four times so far, but it will just randomly shut off when clowing down to come to a stop or to make a turn. The last time it stalled i noticed something else it didn't just stall everything actually turned off; the radio, gauges, lights, absolutley everything died.

The second problem is with the sunroof, last week i was out driving late and when i got back i closed the sunroof and i heard something snap. i tried investigating it but it was dark and i couldn't see anything. I forgot about checking it again the next morning until i got to work and closed the roof again and heard the same snap. So i started investigating but couldn't find anything wrong but i did notice that the back corner of the sunroof sticks up about 1/4 of an inch higher then the rest of the roof but i can't seem to find anything stuck in the track for the roof.

here is one other issue i have noticed lately that i dunno if it is actually a problem or a feature of the radio. Wheni set up the radio i set the bass all the way up and turn the treble to about 3/4. But i have noticed lately that the bass and treble will just automatically reset its self. Sometimes it will do it while driving other times it won't do it until the car is turned off then restarted. It seems kinda odd to me. Has anyone else experienced this problem???

as far as the radio goes....yes....you probably have it set to one the of the preset equalizers such as rock, pop, or whatever else they offer. Try taking it off one of those settings and putting it to custom.

The radio remembers where the bass/treble settings are when you set the presets. If you set the preset with a factory EQ setting on it will store that. It also remembers it for AUX inputs, CD etc. BTW, turning the bass all the way up is a good way to blow your midranges. If you need more bass turn up your sub if you have one.

Im sure he's talking about the factory radio and speakers & sub. How are you supposed to turn up your sub if we dont have those controls on the stock radio? I keep my bass and treble equal about 2 or 3 from max. Sounds good!

Sounds like you have the low idle problem I had and then in addition it sounds like you have some type of electrical problem. Have you checked the fuses to make sure they are all in nice and snug. I'm going that direction since the radio keeps resetting, so maybe a fuse in the engine compartment is not in tight and then as it heats up/cools down it loses contact and resets your interior power.

just some ideas that popped in my head.
