synthetic oil in a 2.2?

I was wondering, anything good about putting mobil 1 fully synthetic oil into my 05 ls 2.2 sedan? wont hurt anything right? i will be moving to maryland for college and will have no garage to change my oil so it will be in there for a bit.

Go synthetic. If you have a Costco or BJ's membership pick up a big case of Mobil 1 at a decent price and you're set. Yes, some may argue that regular oil is just as good etc etc, but since you won't be able to change your oil the benefit of extended oil life that comes along with synthetic is right up your alley.

is synthetic really that good? i mean can you really feel that difference...(i dont care much about engine wear since i dont intend to keep this car for long) i dont change my own oil and does it really worth that extra bucks?
