Well, I was on the way home from shopping and (I live in the country) I had a dog run out infront of me. I swereved and braked to avoid it and then when I went to take off again, I got this code. I have a code reader from my old car, but should I just erase it or let the rental company deal with it.

I did a search on here but this was all I got:

P2127 Accelerator Pedal Position (APP) Sensor 2 Circuit Low Voltage ECM, PCM

Anyone else have this problem? My CEL is on and the "ENGINE PWR REDUCED" DIC warning was on (I reset it on the DIC). Any help would be appreciated. TIA

 

Um, it's a rental car. Return it and get a new one. Don't even screw with it. Its not yours, why care?
