Has Anyone Ever Has To Have Their Clutch and Flywheel Replaced?

I took my car into the dealership for the first free oil change, and my clutch was slipping so i told them to look at it and guess what? they need to replace my clutch and my flywheel, of course covered under warrenty because I only have 7k miles on it. I don't know what I did to hurt the flywheel, I only ginded it going in reverse and that was before I would put it in first then reverse to keep it from grinding and I didn't think I hurt it that bad when it did it a few times...but I guess i did. I know everyone is having their clutch replaced but what about flywheels?

THey didn't give you any **** about your mods? Seems like they would call abuse on that.

the flywheel is like a brake rotor... i would think that if the clutch is needing replacement, there isn't a whole lot of good reasons not to replace it.

haha the dealer is Stadium GM Salem Ohio in NE Ohio. I'm really surprised they didn't say **** about my mods either...they didn't even mention anything about the short throw shifter. Or maybe they can't tell it is, and maybe they can't tell the pulley is smaller also?
