ok, I know the bore and stroke is different from the 2.2, what I need to know is, are there any other differences in the pistons between the 2.2 and 2.4? also, are only the rods forged, or are the pistons forged also in the 2.4? lastly, is anyone making a MLS head gasket in a thicker configuration than the stock one? raising the head a few thousandths of mm's will help to lower the compression a little, even if we can get it down like 9.8 or so that would go along way to help with detonation. the other possibility is to have the block resleeved to shrink the bore down so we could use 2.2 forged internals.
