Just picked up my SS/SC a few days ago. Not sure about a sound I hear from about the driver's side area sounds like a loose exaust sheild. I hear it when at low rpm when I hit it without dropping down a gear. Just does not sound right to me. Anyone else hearing this ?

 

You should probably take it in to have it looked at, I used to have a slight rattle in the exhust when I cold started it but that sound went away.

 

I had the same problem with my SS and I took it in. They had to order a new exuahst system. A lot of SS's are having this problem and Gm is going to change their exhaust systems for the 06 SS's. just take it in and they can order a new one for you its gona take like 3 weeks.

 

Same problem with my barnd new cobalt! I don't know what gm is up to these days...

 

mine just makes a pinging noise when I turn it off.

 

Yes, I had it in to the dealer this morning and they told me there was a broken baffle in the muffler. Are they changing the entire system on yours or just the muffler ?

 

I think they order a whole new system for mines. I shoulda called today to see if they got it. OMG they are taking forever and i want to fix it already cuz i cant really hear the supercharger whine!!!!!!!!!!! ah!!!!!!!!!!!
