So I had the body kit painted and put on back in June and it has yet to see a good coat of wax...Ive heard many different time spans as for how long to wait to wax it for the paint to "cure"??....I heard anywhere from 1 month-6 months...well I really wanted to get a coat of wax on it its going on about 3 and 1/2 months since its been painted and I just wanted to get some opinions on here as to what you guys thought to how long I should wait or if anyone knows any advice itd be greatly appreciated I was also told I could use a quick wax anytime but I have Meguiars NXT Gen wax I was wanting to use....wasnt really sure what forum to post this on so I just went with appearance...thanks again!!!

 

Your good. I have always done 90 days thats what even some paint manufactureres say to wait. The shop I used to work at we would tell the customers there 90 days also but we would recommend they keep it clean and you a glaze on it.

 

When I used to detail cars, we wouldnt wax a car until 90 days after paint. If u do wax it before, you will have a very colorful buffer!
