ZZP Tensioner???

I got a ZZP 2.6 pulley, other than breaking a pulley puller, and destroying the stock pulley it went pretty smooth. I also got a ZZP adjustable tensioner, that was easy to install as well. The problem is, unlike the stock tensioner that has that little bolt thing, the ZZP tensioner has nothing. My car has been sitting in my driveway with everything ready to go and a 2.6 pulley on the blower, but not drivable because the belt it sitting LESS THAN AN INCH away from being able to slip on the last pulley. So my question is...

HOW DO I GET THE TENSIONER TO MOVE?!?! I'VE TRIED EVERYTHING!!! I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO!!!

You broke my Puller?
You put the 12 point bit in the tentioner pulley and push down to loosen the belt. Didn't you see us do it at Jon's when we did mine?

Didn't work, the bolt just keeps breakin loose. And no I didn't even use your puller, Jon was busy and couldn't give me the puller so I rented one.

So did you try to get your deposit back on the puller yet? And what did you end up doing? Sorry I had to cut out yesterday. I still got bitched at. Could have been worse, though, I suppose.

I called ZZP and they said to use a pry bar, on the top of it. I tried my pry bar and it WOULD work but its just a little bit too big.

I use the pry bar and get in between the engine hook and the top of the idler pulley and crank down so that the idler pulley (with the belt still on it) gets pushed down with the stock dampner. You may chip the edge of the idler pulley but they are cheap to replace/ Sorry man, but there is no other way with this tensioner. ZZP did not design it too well from a practival point of view.

GM Stage 2 belt + ZZP adjustable tensioner (2nd hole) = physically impossible to slip with 2.6 pulley!!!

Thanks! My fingers are still kinda tingly after seperating the top layer of skin from the bottom, but not ripping the skin off. Thats how hard I was pulling on it, AND I had gloves on!!!
