Headlight Housing - Custom painting

I pick up my SS/SC sometime next week, it's Rally Yellow and I am really interested in the painted housings. My question is, should I go black or color match and have the 'Vette Z06 look. The black would make it eye caytching, but the yellow would make it flow w/ the car......any suggestions? I'm probably going to paint one yellow first to see what it looks like, but I will need the color code for Rally Yellow.

P.S. No worries, buying a pair off of Ebay to screw with.

Post on painted housing is here if you haven't seen it -->https://www.cobaltss.net/forums/appearance-48/got-pics-headlight-i-did-black-inner-housing-3476/

On a yellow car I voted color matched . That would just look good on yellow . ~OR , a gunmetal housing to exactly match the wheels wouls look sweet too . On that bright color black would clash to much I think .

That would be the easiest part . Just leave out the out the removeable plastic amber lens on the parking light and use a amber bulb instead .

I was messing around with what I think I want my Orange SS to look like eventually. I really want to compliment the orange with black. I saw the painted headlights and thought it'd be sweet, but then I thought if I put a carbon fiber hood on my car, it might look dumb. Just curious to see what anyone thinks about the headlights and hood together. The windows are already done. But other than that the rest is up in the air.

1st Concept:
18" Black Rims, Tint: 50% on sides - 20% brow and back windows, different grill w/o center piece, and painted/carbon fiber headlights

2nd Concept:
18"Black Rims, Tint: 50% on sides - 20% brow and back windows, different grill w/o center piece, carbon fiber hood, carbon fiber mirror covers, carbon fiber middle of stock gm ss spoiler

3rd Concept:
18"Black Rims, Tint: 50% on sides - 20% brow and back windows, different grill w/o center piece, painted/carbon fiber headlights, carbon fiber hood, carbon fiber mirror covers, carbon fiber middle of stock gm ss spoiler

I'm not a big fan of carbon fiber hoods (too ricy), but the black rims with the black headlight housing will look great.
