How many 05 SS/SC cobalts were made

I tried a search on this question but nothing showed up So does anyone know how many SS/SC they made for 05 the first year.

Also did they get rid of the inserts that match the out side of the car color for the 07 model

I too have a GM Promo car. Out of curiosity, mine is also yellow, does yours have only the G85 and XM as options on it? That's all mine has, and mine used to throw lean codes, and dyno'd 40 more hp to the wheels than another '06 with the same exact mods and tune.

I've been wondering if there is a different cam in some of the Promos.

I have no LSD but I do have Xm and a sunroof, I also got a neat window banner

The car sat on display at the 2004 State Fair, So I know its an older cobalt got it for 18.8k new with 102 miles on it Only thing wrong was a scratch on the door panel (black Part 1 inch long and some key marks near the engition.

I too had that AMERICAN REVOLUTION banner on mine, but I took it off when it started to peel up. I guess our cars are a year apart, mine's an '06

Is there a way to tell, or find out what production # our car is... like #115 of 3000 '05's? I'm just curious... i think the one I have is the very first one my dealership got... just wondering if there was anything special.

I don't think there are many of us '05 2.0 owners.
