Is the Ingalls Torque Dampener universal for all engine types with the Cobalt or does it not even matter ? Also anyone know the following :
0-60 time for the 2.2 ?
Exhaust Diameter of the stock 2.2 ?

it works on all cobalt engines, but the 2.2 and 2.4 need aftermarket intakes first, because they take up too much room.
0-60 i dont know exact time, should be around 8-10 depending on driver or so.
stock exhaust is 2'' until before the axle where it is then 1.75, i believe
you're welcome

not really precise, but i have a vid somewhere and from the time it takes my speedo to start moving until i hit sixty, its 7.69 seconds. road & track had a 5 speed sedan do it in like 7.4? i think.

The torque dampner will not fit the 2005 L61 engines. The engine mounts are differents. It will fit every model 2006 and later. You can get it to fit a 2005 if you replace your engine mount as well. Just got to buy a new one. They updated the part number so when you replace it, you get the new style.

New style being the LSJ motor mount. If your looking at the torque dampner to reduce wheel hop then your best solution is polyurethane motor and tranny mounts.

Sure it can. Have you practiced any brake starts? You get a little wobble which it can help reduce.
oh ok cool thanks for the info
