Frustrating night at the track.

Ok so i went Moroso hoping to my 13's which i know is definetly possible with my mods. All my runs were consistant. This car sucks at launching. I cant give it any gas outta first because of the wheel hop about to destroy my car . This was the first time i had been to moroso and i usually went to bradenton's drag strip with a best of 14.39@99 w/ Intake and exhaust 2.15 60'.
This track must suck at being prepped because i couldnt get under a 2.45 60' and i still was running consistently 14.1's@103. I just couldnt get out the whole and i lost so much time just spinning and wheelhopping in 1st. Im thinking about traction bars but i dont know. I need something to cut down this wheelhop before i snap an axle. If anyone has any suggestions of what works best, let me know.
Heres my two best runs :
1st run 2nd run
r/t .356 .513
60' 2.455 2.423
330 6.318 6.275
1/8 9.370 9.315
mph 80.60 80.90
1000 11.986 11.921
1/4 14.179 14.110
mph 103.17 101.40

If you are spinning that bad the track prep won't make a difference. You need to get a handle on the traction- slicks and good axles.

I was gonna try the bwoody traction bars first. I think those will help me cut down the wheel hop. Or i was thinking the intense suspension package. What do you guys think?

No. I kept the stock tire pressure. Doesnt that lower your trap speed though? I ususally do that. I dont know why i didnt.

i was at moroso last week and couldn't break a 2.3! The track is shitty not prepped well at all. Don't worry about it with a better track youd get better times.

I have the intense sus. package...it works wonders. I get no wheel hop....but I go get clutch slippage; which the dealership won't cover under warrenty (7000 miles). Anyways I thats a pretty good trap speed! You definately have 13's in there!!

I've heard of that too. They must be launching at every redlight cuz i've never bent mine. I've had mine on for about 4 months with no problems. Except for the weird noises when I take left turns. I dunno. They're worth it. Even if you do bend one I think they are under warranty.

Mine bent and I do not launch near redline. I always launch around 1400 to 1600 rpms.
That torque dampner is junk.....
