Pretty weird. I think they look cool when driving, kinda like the car is hovering.

Thats what I thought at first....but then I guess you would not have to worry about flat tires!

Yeah i saw those on the news about 6 months ago. they said they are still being tested and modified, but that was 6 months ago.- "any faster than 50 mph and the ride gets really bumpy" yup no flats, but must be a bitch to clean.

they were created a while back and put on a couple concept vehicles, supposedly the handle better than standard tires, and can be made for performance, comfort, or anywhere in between, cool concept, but if they were as good as they claimed you'd think they'd be available by now.
Could also be like the light bulb conspiricy, I'd immagine they'd last a long time and would think it would also be cheeper to make, if you don't get the lightbulb comparison I'll explain... I've seen an original Edison bulb still working in a really old house that was at one time a musuem near where I live, so they can make bulbs last damn near forever they just won't.

they're not that good, if you look at one of th eclose-ups you can see how the outer rim slid off of the inner part on the left side... totally unsafe

but i'd put a set on for shows or something

One neat thing is they are always at the correct tire pressure! hehe

bredick:

I agree with the lightbulb thing. They do purposely make lesser quality lightbulbs so there IS a lightbulb industry. If they didn't, people would only ever buy one for each light and it woud last them a lifetime. It generates much more money to make shitty ones so we have to buy new ones every year! Greedy bastards. It's all in the quality of the filament.
