Well I recently posteed about throttle lag issues but I am now thinking it is exhaust related.

What are the main signs of a cat. plugging up?

I have no power past 4000rpm and boost comes on very quick with 10psi by 2000rpm and 15psi at 4500rpm.

The exhaust was alway quiet but I think it may have also went down in volume a little.

 

kinda sounds like you might have a cloged cat....but im no expert. personally i want a cloged cat, it would be an excuse to get a new exaust....YES!!!

 

Thast exactly what mine was doing, it was the cat. Take it in quick before you mess something up!

 

Get that cat out of your exhaust before it screws up your engine!

 

Yeah this is definitly a CAT problem. Just be easy on her untill you can get a new one. Hey man if you can afford it just get a new performance downpipe that includes a high flow cat.

Signs of a clogged cat.

- Egg smell
- Quick and over boosting
- Poor performance in high rpms
