I was looking in the manual on how to change the headlight bulbs, and do you really need two people to change them? What would be the easiest way to change them out?I have a 06 ss/sc,thanks.

Take out the 2 10mm bolts at the top of the headlight. Pull on it at an angle until it slips out.

How I've always done it and I've had mine out at least 60 times.

Do you have to pull the headlight up from the bottom where it meets the bumper or do you have to pull on it from the corner?

Just to add to that, it makes life a lot easier if you loosen the bolts at the front of the fenders. Then there is not much wiggling involved.

Yea, but why loosen your front fender when you can just take out two simple bolts? (at least my thinking) Especially if you ever get projectors and need to align them.

Just wiggle and you'll get the hang of it.

Just remove the 2 bolts, and pull the corner thats on the outside of the body. Should slide right out.

just like everyone says just take the 2 bolts out and pull the corner. it might give you a little fight but dont worry nothing will break.

I was just sating that if you remove the bolts holding in the headlights and loosen up the fenders, you will not have to fight or wiggle anything. They will slide right out. I manage a paint and body shop. I know what I am talking about. I didn't say that what any of you was saying is wrong. I was just saying that if you do that, you will not have to fight anything.
