Affordable Alternatives?

Before I spent X hours all over the internet, have any of you folks found a cheaper alternative tire for the SS/SC? I don't want to drop $225 a tire every 10,000 miles for the car... I also don't want to have to buy a 17" wheel either... Someone had mentioned to me that Yokohama made our goofy sized tire in a cheaper $150...

i was just wondering if any of you have replaced tires yet, what did you go with, how much did you pay and were there any issues with your replacement?

Thanks in advance!

Check out the Purelli PZero Nero (M+S) for $106 on this site as well!
Give this link a try ihad falken tires on my last car they were great and they are $100 to $150

You may need to get 40 series for falken they are not far off at all the 45's we have as factory. FYI I'm gonna be in the same boat with tires after this first set so let us know what you decide on and how you like'm

Kelley tires make 2 types suitable for the SS/SC. One is their EVO Z, and the other is a new line called Fierce, both tires are Z rated, and directional. Through my work I can get them for like $98.00, and thats 10% over cost so they shouldn't be too much for you, also Hankook is a great brand they have their K106, that have a directional pathern, and I beleive a Z rating,My cost is like $108.00 on those and again I pay 10% over cost.
