Need Help ASAP guys!

Hey i am buying guages for my car and i need to know if the interceptor guage sends any signal that I can interperit as a a/f reading I don't need a 300 aem guage if i can get a ballpark figure from these guage like mass air flow readings. I don't know please help asap.

The Interceptor does not read A/F.

You can go cheap and get a narrow-band A/F gauge but it's not accurate.

You can send the A/F signal from a wideband to display on the interceptor but it doesn't read A/F by itself.

I thought i read somewhere one of the readings that the guage outputs can be interpritted as an a/f readout.

Not that I know of but I could be wrong.

I asked this question a while ago and everyone told me it won't read A/F.
It will only display it if you want it to but the signal comes from another gauge.

That's what I was told by everyone. If this read A/F nobody would buy the AEM wideband.
I had to buy it too because of this. Now I have both AEM wideband and an Interceptor.

I believe you dont have to have a WB gauge but you do have to have a WB sensor to use with the interceptor. It has inout for 0-5v i believe. so you would just need a WB O2 sensor to link to the interceptor plus a bung to install the new sensor. Thats the least expensive route I can think of other than buying a whole new WB setup gauge and all.

That's kind of what i'm trying to say. The wire connected to the o2 sensor that you get with a wideband gauge.

Guess that's not enough.

yea i got a price for that it was 190 b/c it needs some kind of converter. But i will have 2 guages aeroforce and a tune on a dyno with an a/f reading for tuning but if i leave everything alone my a/f shouldn't change so i guess i'm not gonna buy it. I will have 60 pounders and a 2.7 so my a//f shouldn't be a big deal.

No no no...not the case. The analogue inputs on the Interceptor read 0-5 mV. You need an output that is compatible. The o2 sensor alone will not be able to be read by the Interceptor. If it were that easy, the AEM wouldn't cost $300 US would it? AEM WB is your best choice because then you can LOG your A/F ratios for 60 seconds with the Interceptor and read it back. That's the idea I believe.

I guess im under the impression there is a way to wire the O2 sensor diretcly to the Interceptor. Or do you have to have a gauge to translate a signal first? Im not sure as I have yet to install either but will be doing so in the spring so any information learned here I can use as well.

It's worth running both. In your case, 2.7" pulley with 60lb. injectors, you shouldn't worry. That's pleanty of fuel.
