Well I got my letter in the mail today, about how my injectors need to be replaced. I dont want to go into the dealer to have this done, because I have a header and and alot of other mods that could void my warrenty.

So can anybody tell me were I can find some replacement injectors that will work with the stock PCM?

 

Take it to your dealer. The recall addresses faulty injector bodies that leak, nothing more. Real in and out quick stuff, if your local dealer is anything like where I work the guy wont even care what you have on your car. Unless its specific to the complaint I dont give a crap about anything on a recall car because I cant make money on it. General rule, get it in get it out.

You have bolt ons...nothing extreme and won't void your warranty.

 

I pick up mine used with a few k miles on it? Will I get a letter or just people that buy them new? I have a 06 LT.

 

I have 06LT also and I got the letter today. Damn dealer gave me some BS about having the injectors in stock.

OP, you should be fine as mcman said, all they are going to do is replace your injectors, nothing else. Since the header is after the injectors and it is a factory recall, they can't do much **** about it.

I got my letter as well, and I have an intake (SRI) and they can tell me all they want about voiding ****, I want my injectors replaced, and that's it!!!

 

are the injectors only a problem on the 06? or are they the same as the 05

 

i got the letter 2days ago... but i had my injectors changed about 2months ago lol... fuel leaked all over the front of the motor, some'a yall may remember my post about it.
