My dealer had already checked my car 2 times, and it came again.

the coolant temperature doesn't work and after some miles my check engine light came on, and after 2-3 days everything is working normally.... It happened 3 times in 4-5 months

Regards, and thanks in advance....

The problem is a bad water temperature sensor.

Yeah I live on the border so I see G4s a lot. Pretty popular cars actually. I once saw a red G4 coupe with silver interior trim like the SS' have, SS N/A gagues, 5-speed, ebony/ebony interior, and low-pro wing. Should've had my camera. I dont recall seeing a GT badge though. Dont know what it was besides just "G4".

coolant sensor reading "---"

I've been having the same problem, but it comes and goes. It has been going for about three years. It is a strange problem that happens with spring and fall weather. Usually when I leave in the morning it will shut off in about 15 minutes or just about the same spot I'm at in the morning. In the afternoon when I leave work it will still be off, but will come back on in about 15 min's. In some cases it will flag the DTC 0128. There have been variations when it turns on and off, but most of the time it is described as above. I have changed the sensor and it made no difference. I can erase the DTC's and it will come back on. It if doesn't tun on or off within this 15 min window it will stay as it is off or on. I don't want to take it to a mechanic because I don't think they will fix it and probably change something anyway. After some time it will work fine without any problems especially during summer and winter. Also when it flags it will prevent my compressor from coming on. If anybody has seen this problem and know what the fix is I would greatly appreciate it.
