14k Miles, What Service to Perform?

I cant exactly pay for the stealership to service this thing at the moment, and am capable of servicing it myself. So what needs to be done to it from the time its new til it has 14k miles? Ive already done a couple oil changes and rotated the tires.

WOW....

It's amazing how many people out there do not know a single thing about these cars.

aye; i was about to say something along the lines of "i'd like to see this manual trans flush machine"

gm fwd manual's do not require flushing of fluids for nearly the life of the car. and if you get a hair up your ass and want to... all that is required is a drain and fill, where you let it drain overnight if you want to get ALL the fluid out...

the only reason there is a "flush" for an auto trans instead of doing the same for a drop and fill on the filter... is that theres QUITE a bit of fluid up in the torque converter that needs to be taken out as well.

i suppose that goes along with the "crankcase flush" for those people who are overly concerned of oil that is darker than olive oil
