Ihave a 2007 ss/sc and i have noticed on the inside of the door where the switch hits it has removed the paint to bare metal. I mentioned this to my dealer and htey said they could touch it up but it will just happen again. grr.

Tell them they can fix that **** right! Anybody experience the silver paint being a little bit weak? I've noticed a couple of tiny chips, one on my hood and one on my mirror. Maybe it just shows more n the silver...

I had the same problem with that piece and the radio bezel, both were replaced under warranty for me and have had no issues since. Hope that helps.

i had the same problem but i went walgreens and bought some little velcro sticky circles, i took the fuzzy part and put it over the paint where it hit, that solved my problem
