what do you guys thing megan racing cat back or gmpp sport cat back, which is louder? which do u think is better??

 

GMPP has like insane exhaust warranty because its a gm part, and gm car have really long exhasut warranty! Deff quieter! and prob better quality. The megan would prob have better gains up top. prob not any better downlow or mid-range... unless your really modded up.

 

yea i'm kinda looking for something louder i don't want to pay money for a lil improvement.. ya know

 

From what I've been reading Gmpp cat back sound better. Check the search box b/c i believe theres a thread about this alread. If not my bad!!

 

There is a tread about this, but last time I checked there wasnt a megan on there. I heard the quality is preatty good. IMO go with magnaflow if ure pre-occupied about gains. Its a 2.5 like the megan, but it sounds real sweet. Quality os good aswell. Where the meagan its all speculations... But a-town is right, GMPP does sound real sweet. AND keep in mind that even if you have more peak HP with a 2.5 over a GMPP, deosnt necesarily mean you will be faster on the road....

 

i'm not sure if they compare gmpp sport vs megan i been looking but i suck at it

Well for a few reasons really.

1. The touring is a deeper and nicer sounding IMO... I can post a clip of the comparisent between the stock/sport/touring GMPP if you want.
2. My old car had a loud exhaust and afterwhile it got annoying to me (I do alot of highway).
3. The touring has a bigger resonator, so in car sound is less, but outside is almost as loud as sport.

I'd go with the megan. The GMPP is just so quiet and mellow and isn't what I'm looking for. but that is just me.

I sent it you your hotmail. But snake is right, the megan will be louder. Do you want people to turn and look at you when your driving by normally? or do you want to be heard only when you have it full throttle? Either way I would go either GMPP, or Magnaflow (and not meagan).

I honestly dont know man. I am guessing your asking the best price, and I dont know? I would go to the local GM dealership where you got your car with a print out version of CED. They will prib match the price and appreciate you bought the parts there. But its your call... chek out a few places online. Going sport or touring?

 

sport i'm a young kid ( 19) so i wouldn't mind the louder or what ever plus CED is selling it for 350

Megan is loud and raspy. the quality is lower end. my friend had on Scion Tc. after 6month, exhaust hanger fail and pipe rusted. Money always talk.
