HID Idea

I was searching around on the internet about various ways to do HID. I found a site that indicates that we might be able to get the aftermarket projector housings and put Hella or Bosch projectors in the place of the halogen projectors that come with the kit. HIDplanet has Bosch Xenon projectors for 99 bucks plus shipping. Thought I'd let everyone know, and yes there are 6000K and above bulbs made for the D2S type bulbs, just do a google search for them.

Yeah I saw that, I was talking about modding the aftermarket projectors that are on ebay. They come with some halogen projectors that aren't made for HIDs, but I've seen on hidplanet that you can probably take out the bad projectors and put in some good ones.

PS: How do you like your pedals, do they slip? I've been thinking about getting some.

ive seen many people with the ebay projectors and they use HID's in them and have no problem, the pictures they have posted look phenomenal, so they are just as good as getting some other projectors. ill try and find those posts.

and the pedals are awesome. no slipping at all. you actually replace the whole gas pedal which is a good thing, its actually easier than just putting the new covers on the brake/clutch. the only thing was it was a PITA trying to get the covers on. if its cold outside forget it unless you have a heat gun. i would suggest getting a hair dryer or heat gun to heat them up a little bit so the rubber is easier to work with. i made the mistake of doing it in the cold because i have no patience haha. but they dont slip at all, its like they were on there from the factory. i definitely reccomend them.
