got a header coming, don't know how long, should only be a couple of weeks, but i guess the gains were very impressive, its guaranteed for a 15% increase in HP over stock! not too shabby if you ask me, i don't doubt it either as it's supercharged. just can't wait to get it on and dyno that sucker! next stop aem short ram & custom exhaust!

i guess it's a 4-1 shorty header, should have pics available as soon as orders are paid, i'd tell you cobalt guys to get one now, but who knows if it'll be a direct fit

If the header really puts out that much power I think SCdyne can expect a lot of business from the cobalt sector when it comes out. Sounds like a quality product, and the guy sounds like he stands behind it all the way.

That's still up in the air at this point. Even if I filed a lemon suit I'd still get another RL because no one else I know of has had the same probelm which leads me to believe it's just my particular car. So far so good though. I wiped away all the residual and haven't noticed it leaking YET. I'm still watching it closely though.

 

Nevermind. Found what looks like a tranny leak again.

Dammit!!! I really love this car but this problem is really pissing me off.

 

poor jpk man hope u get tht car fixed man or a new car theyre jerkin your gerkin man and its not pleasent. yeah the header looks good asked him to post pics on the redline forum and he did. didnt see them n e where else so i asked him to post some. i feel special. allthough i would like to see actual product, cad drawings look good but actual product looks better.

 

should be getting real pics soon as 10 have paid already (i think), so he can pick up the first 10 and post some pics

 

Well, the Service Manager at Saturn today said that it's time to just tell GM that this thing NEEDS a new tranny. Period.

Funny how that's what I told them when I first broght it in for the leak. So now, after about 8 service dept. visits in three weeks, they think it should just get a new tranny.

 

yup new trans w/ free lsd. for all your headache's and all important appointments you had to cancel because of not having the car cuz it was in the shops. he he
