So I found out 2 of my 60lb injectors were bad

So Ljavy17 (Laz) has had a hard time tuning my car and he thought it was the injectors so I talked to INTENSE-racing about it bc i got the injectors from them and they told me it was a tuning problem and they were trying to get me to buy their binary file for $100. So I ship out my injectors to New Era Performance to get them tested. They called me back yesterday about them and sure enough it turns out that 2 of my injectors were flowing 10 psi slower than the other 2. They arent fixable because they are defective. They tried cleaning and rebuilding the injectors and nothing helps them. I emailed Intense back saying they should refund me new working injectors for free. What do you guys think I should do? I hope Intense doesnt give me a hard time about this bc that would suck.

I hope so too. I have flow sheets that prove that 2 of them are bad. I cant afford to buy 2 more injectors as I have alot more going on with my car and school.

Yeah, I was gonna have INTENSE do some stuff for me (Pistons, Cams, Valve Springs, Ported Blower, Injectors, & dyno tune)... but I heard from A LOT of Grand Prix guys that "INTENSE" and "Blown Up Car", go hand in hand... and that they like to blame everything else, but themselves. Not to mention they haven't returned my emails, Phone calls, etc. So now I've gotta find someone else to do my work!

Good Luck to ya!

They weren't just flowing less , the spray patterns were messed up pretty bad , they are damaged internally . I have never seen a bad #60 injector before , wierd . I can keep them and send them direct to intense for you if you like , let me know , since you already paid for shipping back to you ,this way you don't have to pay shipping back to them as well .

Are they a supporting vendor here? Hope that would kind of make them be accountable for... something. I could be wrong, though.

Quite the opposite, it makes anyone holding them accountable subject to flaming and moderator warnings/bans.

Great, I just opened 2 accounts there last week...

The shop I took my car to for tuning had problems, too, but it was mostly with the bouncy idle. From what I've heard on these boards, though, it's a common problem with the 60's.
