clunking noise when i turn the wheel??

ive read numerous of issues with this problem. Ive been hearin that its the Intermediate Shaft. But the problem is, i have lowering springs on my car, would this void the warranty???? Please help?? Cause if it does, im just going to put my stock springs on and then take it in

Yeah probably the CV joints. Springs shouldn't cause that to go prematurely... but I'm sure the dealer will say otherwise. Either install the stockers back or replace it yourself, its not that hard.

You'll be fine. Don't change your spring back just to go the shop. There is a TSB for the steering wheel clunk. They will fix it under warranty, no problem.

ok so the spring has nothing to do with it?? Im just nervous that if i bring it in with my springs on, that they would deny me

nah, if there is a service bulletin about it then they can't try to deny it. Just bring that up if they dare try

is the clunk only at low speeds? if it is like the others have said there is a TSB out and they will replace the steering shaft. i just had mine done and it completely fixed the issue.

I have had this clunk sound for a while now and I keep taking it to the dealer but they keep saying theres nothing wrong with it. I have already told them about the tsb but they insist they cant duplicate the sound but every time I get in the car it does it. I hate chevy dealershits.
