Broken Lug Stud!

I was changing out my wheels and I got to the front passenger one pulled the wheel off, went to put the others on and when I was putting it on as I was tighting one of the lugs down, It felt like it was just spinning never tighting up, so I pulled it out too look at it and its broken. I have an 07 ss/sc how hard to fix, and how do I do this? never had to before.

I did a search but didnt find out how to do this.

thank you

shane

You might need a new hub, either way it's pretty simple. Similar thing happened to my 05, only PepBoys broke it and then blamed it on me. I swapped the hub with my boyfriend's car, only took about an hour or so to get his off, mine off, and put his hub on my axel.

Never swapped just a stud myself, so I don't know but I would imagine it would be pretty simple.

Yup yup, the four lugs are more of a PITA than the 5 lugs, I had to pull my whole hub to change mine, but you dont, lucky
