So guys 18's or 20's ?

I'm buying but I can't decide if 18s or 20s are the way to go. My cobalt is stock as of right now but hopefuly it won't be like that long. I've seen pics of cobalts with 20's and it looks great but it looks like the tire rub. Is this true and if not what size tire should I get.

Well I just put my 18"s on the other day (18x7.5 Enkei WDMs), and i'm dissapointed with the outcome.........b/c the fact that the wheels have a lip, they look just as small as my stock 17"s did. So, after only a few days of rocking my 18"s, i'm already saving for some 19"s........ASA's to be exact. ASA is no Enkei in terms of quality, but they'll be good enough, and the particualar wheels im looking at (they are on tirerack, dont feel like checking the site at the moment as my puter is so slooooooow) have no lip, so they'll look massive on my car. As for the 18"s........they will be going onto my loving girlfriends '05 Tiburon in exchange for a Cobalt Addiction floor brace and some good ol fashion..........well........you know.

I say 19"s all the way, as 18"s just dont seem to cut it on a car as big as ours, and 20"s just seem a bit rediculous, and just weigh too darn much!

20's! Unless you care about performance, then get 17's.

I finally found the rims I want but they don't come in 19's only 18x7.5 and 20x8.5. Zinik Adrian Z7's. Performance is important to me so 20's are out. I'll keep looking around theres nothing like making a 1000+ mistake.

Id stay with 18s anything larger looks good, but even 18s are hurting the performance.
Also 18" rubber is expensive enough 20" rubber on our cars are rim protectors not tires.
Watch them pot holes!

Those are nice looking rims. If you decide to go with those, you'l be the first Cobalt to sport them as far as I know. Good choice.
