For you "wingless" guys

I wanted to know what you guys use to cover up the holes after you take ur ss/sc spoilers off. I was thinking about taking mine off but wasnt sure how to do it. Plus, if i decide to put it back on how would i seal it so it doesnt leak?

Most people trade the whole trunk with an LS guy who has a wingless trunk. But im sure there is a way for you to take yours off and seal it good but it will be spendy if you want it to look good. Good Luck.

I actually wanted to take it off because i will be buffing my trunk. It would be alot easier to do it if the spoiler wasnt in the way. Im just worried that it will leak when i put it back on.

it's not easy to get off, and there is always the possibility of doin damage to the lid depending on how you remove it.

Personally i wouldn't take it off just to buff the trunk.

just make sure you use somthing to seal it back up, there is some weird **** on there from the factory... imo it would be much more of a pain in the ass to pull off the spoiler just to buff it, than it is worth. the spoiler is not too hard to take off but it was no walk in the park.

yeah the two-sided tape is what makes it a P.I.T.A.

If it was just the 4 nuts, it would be a walk in the park.
