Hey, I have a 2.2l LS Sedan. There's this hissing noise while stopped, and it seems to be coming from the driver side, by the pedals and such. The weird thing is that it seems to go away when I apply gas. Any ideas?

Any ideas? xspyder85x 04-27-2007, 04:46 PM hissing? maybe your belt? monkeiboy 04-27-2007, 04:50 PM I had that too, but it turned out it was just me pretending like I had a turbo Blow off valve:lol: I dunno, maybe you have a crack or a split in one of your intake peices. Beanyhead 04-27-2007, 04:50 PM It's not coming from underneath the hood from what I can tell though; When I pop open the hood and listen, I can't hear the noise. It sounds like it's like coming from right by the gas/brake pedals. Coblasts 04-27-2007, 05:55 PM Something in the heater vent, see if it stops when the heater is turned right off. Beanyhead 04-27-2007, 06:20 PM I tried that... it seems to possibly stop when the heater/ac is turned on, but I'm not sure if it really is, or if its just masking the sound. |
