Car stuck

So..check this out. I have a base model 05 Cobalt, and I pulled it up in the driveway yesterday, washed it, waxed it, then went to back it up and it was "stuck." It was exactly like someone had chocked all four wheels, I mean, this thing was not moving anywhere. The ebrake also got really tight (this was not a problem before, and I had been driving all morning). So I call the dealer, tell them whats up, and they towed it in. Come to find out, according to the sheet I got back from Hampton Chevrolet, "the rear shoes were seized to the drums. Lots of brake dust, corrosion, and rust...."

Rust on a daily driven 2005 car? I was somewhat shocked at this...and especially at the fact of how it just sort of came up all of a sudden. Its fixed now though, I suppose.

Anyone else had similar problems?
