05 ss/sc vs 06 ion 2.4

This was a race from last night between Marice's(powerz) ss/sc vs. an 06 ion 2.4.
To be an NA those 2.4's do really well on the track. This type of race is a drivers race though so boost doesn't always help. Both driver made the gm fans at langle happy

I was just going to say the exact same thing. It looks like a blast, actually factors in handling a little bit, and will finally let you get some use out of your LSD.

That was sick! I like how the announcer said "Blue neons make it go faster...or...are suppsoed to...."

Good kill. I'd love to do that track.

well if any of you guys are ever in the va beach area here you can run the tracks. my club always goes out to the tracks and its only $15. all you need is a dot approved helmet and a street legal seatbelt.

We used to have a track like that around here a few years ago, but it got torn down so houses could go up. I was pissed!

It was pretty fun though, it was used for junker stock cars and sometimes sprints. The best was the crazy-8 races though. Usually Thursday nights they would have that where people could race their street cars around the track. I never ran it, but a couple buddies did. One of them had a Neon R/T with the stripes down the middle, the announcer made fun of him just like the one in the video, haha.

My other buddy ran once in his civic (a POS btw, really slow). He put it into the wall once, whoops!
