Calipers finally done and painted (56k BEWARE)
Calipers finally done and painted (56k BEWARE)
So I decided that I was going to paint my calipers due to the ugly machining they did on them from factory. Last weekend I accomplished the front two calipers and you all are wondering why it took so long. Well, mix my perfectionism and only a dremel to sand her down and you have why it took so long. This weekend I took care of the rear calipers. Here are some pictures of working on them and the finished product.

Caliper system dismantled.

UGLY!

Working into the night...

Dremeling away!

Painted and ready to reassemble!

Assembly of the caliper Done!

Rim shot after all is said and done!

Car Shot....Yes she is dirty. You drive a 1/4 mile on gravel and not have a dirty car.
Well here you all go. My perfectionism did pay off in the end because I think they turned out pretty damn good for my first time ever painting a set of calipers.

I totally agree with you on that one. I have been looking at a set of cross-drilled/ slotted rotors.
I picked up the paint with a gift card from Autozone that I got for my birthday. It is called Duplicolor and is rather inexpensive too.
