Interior Paint?

Just curious what "kind" of paint to use on the interior pieces since mine are chipping and showing the original plastic color underneath. Also any tips or pitfalls you have run in to by doing this.

If it is too rough Ill just replace the entire interior door panels on my balt.

I used the Krylon Fusion and it still chipped a bit, but not enough for anyone else to notice but ME and it drives me crazy!!! I'm actually just going to retouch it pretty soon and clearcoat the s**t out of it again... That's about all I can do and I'd assume it's the same deal for you.

Why not ask the Dealership to replace the pieces?
The big trim surounding my radio has two minor scratches in it and they said to make sure I bring it in before the regular warranty expires and they'll change it. They also changed the silver trim on my doors when I showed how easily it scratched with my fingernail. Mind you they know how "****" I am about my baby and I don't let them forget it.

Ask them you may be pleasantly surprized.

I used krylon fusion on my door panels and was pleased with it however i used duplicolor fabric paint on the armrests on the door and they keep fading. I will eventually just wrap them with a different fabric

Best Plastic paint I have found is Testors for RC Cars! Comes in all Kinds of colors & Stays on Plastic, Plus it can be clearcoated with thier clearcoat! You can get it at any Hobbie Store, I use to race RC Cars & Paint all my Bodies that were clear lexan plastic & it works Well!
Another Plus it doesn't go on as Thick as some other paints!

Testors for RC Cars sounds good then. Mine has VERY small chips and scratches but it drives me fricken crazy. I mean.... Ill replace the whole damn door, I dont care. If the RC paint holds up better than factory that might be the best route. I dont feel like colormatching + clearcoating the crap out of it unless absolutley have to. It may be an option if anyone knows of a clear coat to withstand regular use including washing every now and again.
