GMPP Preformance/Touring Exhausts whats the difference?
Having owned both, I think I should post. Both have a nice low tone to them without drone or rasp. The tone is amazing on both and they are both quieter than most cat-backs.
The Sport is noticably louder and I had to raise the volume of my radio and people in my house could hear me when I pulled in.
I since bought the Touring which knocks out some of the higher sound leaving a deep rumble that is just slightly louder than stock.
EDIT: Here is a video Blown 4-banger and I made of Stock vs. GMPP Sport using his broadcast quality camera.

If you don't mind I'll give you my .02 worth:
I just finished driving 950 miles in my 06 LS with the GMPP performance exhaust, traded it for a 07 SS/NA with the GMPP touring exhaust and drove the SS/NA 950 miles back home.
With the 2.2 and Perf the exhaust noise was LOUD at 70 MPH, especially when going up-hill when the engine would rev-up. I had to turn the radio up considerably to hear music or news. The 2.4 and touring was definitely quieter at 70 MPH, making it much more comfortable. If you are going to drive a lot of highway miles I recommend getting the touring exhaust. I was happy with the performance exhaust on my LS -- but it was mainly an "around-town" car where 90% of my driving was at 45 MPH.
