Radio won't turn on...
ok so this morning i get into my 2006 SS Chevy Cobalt.. and i turn it on and i noticed the clock didnt turn on.. so i turned it off again and turned it back on still would kick on.. so i got in the passenger seat took off the fuse panel looked at that for about 5 mins but it's way too confusing.. so i was wondering could it be from the sun hitting the dashboard because i felt the dash and it was beyond hot.. or could it just be i need to replace the fuse?
Do you think you feel confident enough to take the radio out?
If you do try this. The little peice of plastic right above your glove box, that has the SS on it. Pop that off, you have to use some force cause those clips are Gay but be careful at the same time. Then Move all the way over to the little peice of plastic ( looks the same) Next to your steering wheel that have the two buttens on it to look at your engine temp, oil, miles and such. Pop that only 1 clip. Then you should see two handles on the piece of plastic around your radio. Start up top by the radio pulling it out and work your way down to where the ac controls are. Its like 6 clips, be careful. You should see 4 bolts arounf the radio simply un screw then and pull the radio out. Unplug everything from the radio and take the radio off and let it sit for about 30 seconds to 1 min. Then plug it back in. Turn the car on see it it worked. I had the same problem before i put my aftermarket radio in and it did the trick
