Gains of SS/SC injectors, GM I/E manifold

Never thought to ask until now but how much of a gain would SS/SC injectors and intake/exhaust manifold upgrades from GM give? I was planning on stopping once I got all I/H/DP/E done but if those mods hold their own compared to price then I might get them.

From what people say, the GMPP don't yield as high of numbers. With injectors you'll have to get a tune too. I'd expect you to be around 170 whp with a tune I/H/E/INJ/T

I dont know about that. Im at 165whp with intake, catback, and a dynotune.

As for the tune, when I slap on the SC injectors I can go back to my place and get a free dynotune, just have to pay for dyno time.

H/DP/Retune, will not gain you to much more. 10 whp maybe. GMPP manifold is the greatest for flow.

You have to think about it this way. Injectors them selves arent going to net you anymore power unless you have other mods. Injectors are there to make sure your getting enough fuel to feed the amount the engine requires to make the power. So unless your In need of more fuel then your injectors can give they arent going to do anything for you until you get more bolt ons. What I would recommend is getting something like cams or better flowing parts then the gm stuff or do things like get the head ported

intake or exhaust?
I was told to expect to be at 180whp after the h/dp but how much alone would the manifold give?

Don't think i'll need them after the I/H/DP/Catback? If not them I wont even worry about it. I plan on getting a Supra TT in the next 3-4 years so I don't want to go all out on the Cobalt and blow all my money.

Exhaust. Its just a ported stock manifold. Now a performance tubular manifold will get you more. My friend is expecting 180 whp with Injen Intake, Vibrant Long Tube, ARK N2 catback, SS/SC Injectors and Dyno Tune. And 180 whp was a high estimate for that so.

That estimate sounds about right being that he doesnt have downpipe or hiflow cat. And if he does then 180 would just be too little of a gain for the money. If I can get 190whp or better with intake, header, downpipe, hiflowcat, catback,SC injectors, exhaust manifold, and a tune then I will be happy!

Very happy

Vibrant long tube comes with a high flow cat and down pipe FYI.
