Every day on my way to work i pass are GM dealer well on one of those trucks that hold like 20 cars i saw a showroom COBALT!!!!!!!!!! why do i call it a showroom cobalt when i came off work i drove into the dealership 10:30 at night there it was inside building next to a new Vette!!! for show !!!!! it looks way better in person. i just cant wait to get mine then throw on a 18" Racing Hart C5 rim damn they look awesome!!!!

In my opinion the 4 door is retarded looking in the back if you seen it in person you know what im talking about!

Please confirm that you saw a Cobalt SS on a dealer showroom?! That is great news because it means they are shipping at least a few of them and production can only go up from here. What color is it.

Someone had reported they were making a few coupes that would be shipped to dealers but no one seems to know anything about SS production.

yo i totally agree the 4-door chevy cobalt looks really stupid from the back. i seen a few but not the SS supercharged model. i have seen a 2005 corvette though. i think they are so cool looking. that and the SSR. i've actually been waiting to see a 2005 mustang. i think they are awsome looking. well i gtg

 

I dunno, they didn't know off the top of their heads either. I ordered it in August, so maybe I checked some options that aren't available together anymore or something. Or maybe they are just waiting to build it because there are so many in the queu, and other dealers had more Cobalt allocation then us. We sell a lot of trucks and SUV's, so most of our allocation is for them.

The hold is due to the headlights. My local dealer has sedans and they can sell them but cannot deliver them till the problem is fixed

 

Headlights? Of all the reasons to hold production. Bah!

 

Went by the dealership today, I live in Tampa, Fl. they had two sedans, one black and one sliver, looks pretty nice........
