To see if any one here has one and how they like it. Reading a listing on what it does, and hearing from someone on how it acts is two differnt things. I was on there forum and some are stating that they have had promblems with the DB gauge. I am pulling the trigger tomorrow, and buying a WB and want as much personal info on this gauge as possable.

the only thing that gauge doesn't have over the other lc1 based one is the hold and a the disco light feature. if you're looking for a bare bones gauge, this is what you would go with. it is also easier to read at a glance than the other one.

I'm too lazy to search for it, but there was a test of 9 different wide-bands a while ago and the LC-1 took first place. Just so you know...

I too plan on buying an LC-1 when make the purchase. I originally was going to get the XD-16, but when I saw the DB came out, I definately wanted that. It will match the other gauges I'm planning on buying...

The one thing that I am concerned about is the fact that you have to calibrate the LC-1 before you can use it; where as the AEM UEGO is just a plug and play unit. And from being on innovate’s web site forum. Some people have been reporting problems with the DB gauge just stops working and flashes at them. If I spend $300.00 on a gauge I want the thing to work right from the get go.

I can absolutely see where you're coming from. Counter point though...

Innovative is a very good company that stands behind their parts. Even if they were having problems, I would think that they have already addressed the issue and will have a revised gauge available. I'm sure those w/ issues are being taken care of also.

P.S. - I think the UEGO came in 2nd in that comparison, just FYI. It's a great gauge. I know CA has a decent price on them.

Sorry Bro, I don’t know much about the XD-16. But from what I gather you can log the info via the LC-1 into the logworks software they provide you. And then with other accessories you can log EGT, RPM, ext… But unless you have the Pro version of HP you can not put that info in there. Maybe someone else will come around and answer your question better. Everyone I know has the AEM, this is why I am doing some research before I make my purchase.

the aem is easier to use. but the sensors burn out faster and are more expensive to replace.

The easy answer is to go to the HPTuners forum and see whar the pro tuners use. A lot of them use the LC-1. I have the LC-1 with the XD-16 and I love it. The calabration is not a problem. Takes about 10 minutes. There are also ways to log it on HPTuners standard.

I had an innovate wb in my neon for years. Worked like a charm. I also own a uego and honestly, there's not much difference. Still haven't burned either sensor out.
