which springs are better??

Ok i dont like the eibachs because for me the sportlines are way to low and the pro kit isnt enough for me...

Now the ssc springs look good and i hear great things about them but it seems like it drops them even farther than the sportlines even though it sais they have a factory spring rate?? Help me out on this one please

also the cobalt addiction #1 sport springs drop the car .75 in the front and 1.25 in the rear which is the kind of drop i want because its not over an inch in the front and a good nice drop in the back leveling out the car..... so tell me what yall think i need some choices

-I need a good spring that is less of a drop than the sportlines, and not such a weak drop as the eibach pro kit i want it just right!!!!!!

thanks all in advance for helpin me out

I think your only option is to go with Coilovers.

Set your own damn ride hight so we dont have to hear the bitchin

i heard some bad things about coilovers though....that you need a tuner shop to adjust them for you...you cant just installl them yourself, and then get a alignment and be set...I heard going with coilovers is a pain in the ass because if their not put in by a professional ull **** **** up but idk

Springs

I have tried eibachs, h&r and ssc springs. The ssc spring have the best ride quality and best stance. With the other two springs I had the shake when accelerating in first gear like everyone has talked about. The ssc springs do not do this. I think it has something to do with the design of the spring. They do not have dead coils like the others. They compress equally like the stock.

sportlines arent too low IMO but if you need a camber kit I have a set of EZ Cam Camber bolts. oh and the ssc springs are lower than sportlines.

I'm kinda confused here, don't you already have the stock SS/SC springs?? I'm asking because you said "you've heard great things about them".
GM spent a lot of time creating/tuning the springs on the SS/SC. Some people seem to think that aftermarket is automatically better but that isn't always the case.

Since you said the CA #1s have the right drop you should just try them or find someone who has them.
A second option woud be to cut the stock springs. Chop off a half coil or whatever you want for your drop.
Coilovers are great because they are superadjustable. They are exactly what road racers and autox guys need to really fine tune their suspension. But they cost over $1000, can be complicated to install and hard to set up unless you know what you're doing. Awfully expensive if all you are trying to do is drop the car an inch.

Just go to the manufacturer's websites and read up as much as you can. Keep in mind that you always don't get the exact drop that they say you will.

Good Luck

Ok sorry, I thought the ssc springs you mentioned were the SS/Sc springs.

^^ Agreed. This screws up the spring rate and causes way more trouble than it's worth. You put yourself and other drivers at risk!!
