I need yalls advice on this "paint job" that chevy did
Ok so say 8 months ago when my car was stock i had alot of condensation in my headlight (right headlight) took it to gm, and service replaced it for me free of charge took the car home and was very satisfied... Come to find out take it home and i see marks in my bumper from where they forced out the headlight leaving distinct and deep marks...
Took it to chevy they said they would paint it and fix it
Say 3 months later i had a bumper to bumper accident where a old man hit me in the back 1200 dollars worth of damage and my corsa exhaust got replaced with it because that got ruined also so all in all i got 2200 dollars from insurance to fix my back bumper... Took it to chevy to get painted and at the same time they were gonna do the front bumper also so i said sure why not knock out 2 problems in 1
Result: My back bumper, around the edges of the bumper are not painted in some spots and black in other you know right where it clips in basically and if you look closely and am parrenoid like iam you see things like this... Rough spots where it feels like no clear coat was applied to not make it smooth in such places when you close the trunk...and also on the back bumper skirt right where the exhaust and **** is there was alot of orange peel accumulating by the hard to reach places
The front bumper when i got it back, the repainted it alright but by doing so orange peel accumulated in 3 spots on both sides of the bowtie leaving big blemishes... The left side of the bumper right by the fenderwell its pealing from the paint and there is also some orange peel around the stock grill that surrounds the bowtie up front...
Ok so AFTER THE THIRD TIME of taking this thing back to chevy the back bumper is good right now besides the unpainted edges and the front bumper still has a little orange peel around the grill surrounding the bowtie and i see a new spot thats getting looser and looks like it wants to chip away by the front grill now, also the front bumper looks like a damn warzone because of bugs hitting this but it was never like this till it got painted
NOW WHAT SHOULD I DO?? Need yalls advice
