Bad Party, I need help...

So I was at a party last night and I got drunk (not wasted but drunk).

Some guys came over...some redneck and some fatass and talked **** the min they came in the house...well they got kicked out the house for saying he raped someone that threw the party...his younger sister. They threw him out and someone told me someone was hitting cars and well I drove hom that night cause I was tired of the drama (i sobered up because of the problems) and I drove home.

I went out and took pics of my car and my photographer tells me that theres a huge dent here. im like WHAT! and im VERY **** on my car. i love it to death. i really do.

But now theres a Huge Dent on my trunk with some scratch marks and I cant just take it to court because...1. there was underage drinking...2. i dont know exactly who did it.

So please give me help here. I was thinking of buying a carbon fiber hood...but Idk, should I call the insurance up and tell them I was at walmart and i got hit by someone while i was in the store?

Please help guys. your all i got =(

Dude just call the cops and say someone vandalized your car in front of your house. Once they write a report just tell insurance. Its not like your really lying.

depends on what your deductible is. if you can get it done for under or just a bit over your deductible, I would do that instead of reporting it. (I'd rather pay the few extra dollars than take the chance at having my insurance go up)
But yeah, if you do report it, the car was NOT at wal mart. they have parking lot cameras and can't verify that it happened there.

You can either:

1. Suck it up, pay for it yourself, and consider it a good learning experience. You've already admitted to driving drunk. Now, you're contemplating insurance fraud to cover up the misdeed. No, you didn't do the damage, but yes, falsifying information on an insurance claim is insurance fraud. Add to it you've just left a record of it.

Or:

2. Call them up, tell them you attended a social gathering, and someone fucked with your car. They may request you to file a police report, they may not. You don't have to say anything about who was or wasn't drinking. They'll probably send a claims adjuster out to see what the extent is, and let you know what your options are.

Either case beats giving falsified info, and having the chance you might be caught.

Be honest...to a point One of my best friends is an agent with a major insurance company, she say's call your helpline report as vandalisim give the address and time that it occured ( you don't have to say that it was a party )!!! Your rates WILL NOT GO UP it is vandalisim not a collision Side note my car was hit in a parking lot right on the drivers side tire, major damage and my rates didn't go up at all, because the car was PARKED

Well, truthfully, this is the sort of thing Florida makes us carry all that damn insurance for. As far as I know, windshields are the only thing that are supposed to be repaired/replaced with no questions asked.

Come to think of it, since he said he didn't witness what happened, it might qualify to be fully covered under the Uninsured Motorist Coverage. Check with an attorney to be sure. Hell, most attorneys will probably take the case in a heart beat if it does go under uninsured motorist. They sue your insurance company, and typically, part of whatever settlement they make includes their pay.

If not, your out of pocket cost is your deductible if you do decide to file a claim. Now, whether or not a carbon fiber part falls under covered replacement parts will be questionable. Remember, the bottom line of the insurance carriers is profit. To them, that after market third party Chinese manufactured part is just as good as a factory part for a lot less money.

Yea you weren't driving, so your rates shouldn't be touched. If the car isn't moving, it becomes property damage, not an accident. You found that someone vandalized your car, and you only know it happened between x and y dates, you don't need to say it was at the party, because if you didn't see it until the next day, you don't KNOW that it did.

Oh, and by the way...dont drive drunk. Not cool. At all.

find out who did it exactly, confront them and tell them you need money for a new trunk or youll call the cops on them, or hell tell their parents. believe me if you were to do this and they wouldnt pay and the cops had to be involved, the cops wouldnt even ask if their was drinking, nor would they care, im guessing your still in high school correct?

btw unless the police officer sees you drinking, you admit to it, or they actually breathalized you at the time, you can not get in any trouble, so i would say just report exactly what happened, say you were not drinking if asked and say the same for everyone else. These guys would get what they deserve and nobody else would get in trouble.

Very good advice. You could of been there all you want, as long as you do not admit to doing anything illegal your fine.

I'm about 99% sure door dings are not covered, as they are not intentional vandalism. I may be wrong, but I don't think so

find the guy who you think did it..and shoot him in the face...then cut his body up in tiny pieces and feed them to wolves...

or just tell the cops you were vandalized and fill out a police report and file it on insurance
or get new stuff

Did your car actually get vandalised or was there minor contact on the way home after a couple of beers. Sorry man the story sounds a little fishy. Was any other cars vandalized. If so there should already be an existing police report. Don't claim if anything other than what you said did happen. It is easy for claim adjusters to fiqure out speeds...point of impact and other such info. They will be able to tell right away whether or not the car was punched or run into something.

i was drinking...yeah.
i sobered up and drove home eventually. (so no drunk driving)

next...i woke up and there were dents out the ass on my car along with key marks and scratch marks.

next after (i just found out) the people who own that house have a company truck and it was vandalized as well.

if you think it sounds fishy then honestly, dont post cause why would i make a thread up if i was at fault. come on, pointless. and dont even bring up anything about post count cause idfc about that.

and no car hit my car. kids fucked with it and punched it.
