hey, okay, i got a stage 2 spec clutch. from what i can see, i need to pull out my engine to unbolt the transmission. is that the way to unbolt my transmission. i need help asap. thank you.

I don't have the full details but you do not need to pull the motor to unbolt the transmission. You do need to remove the cross member for the subframe though. I would personally have a dealer or shop do it unless you are sure you know what you are doing.

I also would recommend you have the dealer or trani shop do this unless you know what you are doing. Once you have disconected everything you wil be required to drop the sub frame from the car. It is doable but it is a bitch. do a search, there is a manual pdf out there that shows you how. I just can't find it right now. There is also a Haynes manual out for our cars now.

I need some help I just put a clutch masters stage 3 clutch on my cobalt. The car runs great. Grabs good and the response is bad ass, but just one thing when I race my car and I start shifting my car starts out of control screeching. I shift quickly in to second gear and my tire hops once or twice you can here it. Until it grabs the pavement my car is gone. My question is I don’t have the LSD transmission on my SS S\C. But I want to avoid the hoping in my car I checked my motor mounts and they seem fine. Please help
