got a little problem got a couple of water spots on my windows and i tried everything and still nothing !!!!!!!!! is there a way to get them off?

 

do you dry the windows right when you dry the rest of the car??

try windex with newspaper also, newspaper gets windows cleaner than anything i've ever seen!

holy ****, i didnt know AEM had a mth kit, shiz i'm kinda loyal to them i love their products. one question, do they offer one of those adjustable controllers for inside the car?

 

if it is a hard water spot you should CLR or a calcium and lime remover dulluted 1 to 1 with water it will come of with a little rubbing. it happend to my friends tsx type s the neighbor hood he lives in has automated sprinklers and they are putting chemicals in the sprinkler to help the grass stay green and it will make hard water spots but clr and 2 hours got the car looking good as new lol

yeah i tried windex already , but i havent tried clr yet . i have some in my home , so ill give it a try . thanx guys !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

vinager and newspaper... shouldnt use windex on your windows if they are tinted

 

tell us how that works out with clr. I had spots on my whole car. I suspect not drying it off a couple times after washing it did me in. I got it out of the paint with Meguires clay bar, polish and gold class wax. It still remains on my windows and vent shades. I even clay barred the windows. I used every window cleaner I could find. It is annoying as hell. I also have little tiny black pit marks in my rims from brake dust. And yes I have used brake dust rim cleaner and followed the instructions so I did not stain my rims. I wash this car all the time and am getting a little peeved I cant keep her tight.

 

I use a product called Invisible Glass from a company called Stoner.

My dad got it for me, so I'm not sure where he got it, but it works great. I use it on the inside and out....

spray on windows, wipe off... cleans off dirt, grime, bugs, water spots.. its also Tint Safe and streak free..

 

invisible glass is the best window treatment stuff out there...Stuff is way better than windex and it will get your streaks and water spots out

 

use a brillo pad or s.o.s pad they are great for that and bugs also thats what i use

newspaper is great for windows

 

use stoners brand invisible glass it works on all types of windows it works great me and my friends use it never had any problems with it

 

fine wool works really good...

Circular patterns may appear on the glass which are visible mostly when the glass is moist
or fogged up. The size varies from 2-6 inches and are typically described as “rings” or
“circles” that won’t clean off with standard glass cleaners.

To determine if this type of mark(s) is present use a clean, moist cloth lightly wet the
surface of the glass component. Carefully observe if these circular marks develop as the
water from the cloth dissipates. Repeat this process on both the inside and outside of the
glass component (if applicable) to identify which surface of glass (inside or outside) has
the condition. If the marks are present on the outside of glass, this condition will naturally
lessen with sunlight exposure and time. Customer concerns are mostly associated with
this condition being present on the inside surface. If the customer wants the marks
removed, they can be removed using a non-abrasive cleanser or polish. Appropriate
materials are Calcium Carbonate (Bon AmiŽ) or a glass polish containing Cerium Oxide.
CAUTION: Do not use any materials containing quartz or silicate abrasives. Typical
examples of abrasive cleansers include (AjaxŽ, CometŽ, Soft-ScrubŽ,
etc). Cleansers with abrasives will scratch the glass surface and cause
irreparable damage.
PARTS REQUIRED:

AR NPN Calcium Carbonate (Bon AmiŽ) or a glass
polish containing Cerium Oxide
CLEANING PROCEDURE:
1. Moisten a clean cloth with water.
2. Wipe the glass surface leaving a very fine film of water on the glass.
3. Observe the location of the marks on the glass.
4. If the marks are on the inside of the glass surface, take precautions to cover any of the
interior components the cleanser could come in contact with.
5. Rinse the cloth with clean water.
6. Apply cleanser to the moist cloth.
7. Rub the surface of the glass with the cleanser in a circular pattern being sure to cover
the entire area that the mark involves.
8. Wash off any residual cleanser material with a moist cloth.
9. Dry the glass surface.
10. Check that the removal has been successful by rubbing a moistened, clean cloth back
over the cleaned surface and inspect for suction cup marks.
11. Repeat as necessary to remove all of the mark(s) from the glass surface(s).

Vinegar will remove water spots

 

Go to your near by parts house and there is a product made by Glass Science. It is called "glass scrub".
That will remove anything on glass.
